ephemera, an immersive outdoor performance

Tickets are now on sale for ARTFARM’s ephemera, an original immersive theater piece taking place at Indian Hill and Vine Street Cemeteries in Middletown on Saturday, September 19.

There are only three performances, all on September 19, and only thirty tickets are available for each performance. Performances will be at 11 am, 2 pm and 4:30 pm. Tickets are available at www.art-farm.org. Purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended to avoid disappointment. Tickets are available on a sliding scale from $25 - $50.

ephemera is conceived and directed by ARTFARM Executive Artistic Director Marcella Trowbridge with the ARTFARM Ensemble. In the piece, which features over twenty actors, dancers, puppeteers, musicians and circus performers, the audience will be guided through the two beautiful and historic cemeteries and experience a series of immersive performances, rituals, connections and spectacle. The piece will reflect on the question, "What is a Life?" and how contemplating impermanence can point us towards living and loving well - now.

Please note, this performance is 'promenade-style' and requires the audience to travel. Attendees are advised to wear good walking shoes, bring water bottles and to dress for the weather. Parking for the performance will be behind 192 Cross Street (Wesleyan Parking Lot R), directly across from the Cross Street Fire Station. Audience members will enter Indian Hill Cemetery by foot, using the Cemetery Road entrance from Cross Street.
