Drag at the Poli 2026

book tickets now learn more

Have a drink and have a blast with Connecticut’s best drag queens and most okay king!

Hosted by Frankie Cyanide and featuring performances from Mia E. Z'Lay, Midnight, and Mz. Clementine KuLayd, this one-night-only engagement in the Poli Club will celebrate the ever-evolving art form of drag performance. You can expect an evening full of tongue-in-cheek humor, jaw-dropping stunts and dancing, and dazzling costumes. Specialty cocktails and mocktails will be available for purchase at the Poli bar throughout the event.

Frankie Cyanide, Connecticut’s loudest drag king, has been described as a “mockery of drag” by friends and enemies alike. With a fashion sense right out of Yellow Submarine and the dancing skills of a dad at a barbecue, Frankie’s many things, but never a bore.

From whimsy to woes, local legend Mia E. Z’Lay crafts and creates her own fantasy garments. This tattooed beauty has an extensive entertainment background and is currently exploring all the new tricks and noises her knees generate.

Mother of the Coven of Night, Midnight is a fiery Latin witch with a dark side and a bright future. Good luck keeping up with this dancing diva! The jury’s out on whether Midnight’s hips do or don’t lie, but it’s probably for the best if we assume they don’t.

What happens when you mix camp, chaos, kookiness and glamour? Mz. Clementine KuLayd! She prides herself in performances that blend being theater, camp, and comedy while celebrating and elevating the Black Diaspora and culture.
