Dr. Catherine Walworth is the Jackye and Curtis Finch, Jr., Curator of Drawings at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts and curator of Architects of Being: Louise Nevelson and Esphyr Slobodkina. She is a specialist in modern art whose research blends a kaleidoscope of social and political history, material culture, fashion, film, and dance history. She is also the author of Soviet Salvage: Imperial Debris, Revolutionary Reuse, and Russian Constructivism (2017). Like Architects of Being, this book spotlights women artists in a range of design fields.
