

Concert: Sunday Serenades: A Violin Portrait

Members of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra perform chamber music featuring Sir Edward Elgar’s Violin Sonata in E minor, op. 82 (1918) alongside works by William Bolcom and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. First, join us in the galleries as Wadsworth Director Matthew Hargraves examines an important portrait by George Frederic Watts of Lady Lindsay playing a violin within the context of the aestheticism movement.
