Composer, scholar, and guitarist Thomas Schuttenhelm and clarinetist Alexander Kollias present an informal concert responding to the paintings of artist Mariel Capanna. It features compositions by Schuttenhelm and composer Robert Capanna (1952–2018, father of the artist), including the world premiere of the late composer’s Three Concert Etudes for clarinet. While you listen, explore the artworks on view in Mariel Capanna / MATRIX 198.
