The Catacomb of Loyalty

On Tuesday June 2 at 7pm, Morgan Bengel, curator and site administrator of Old New-Gate Prison & Copper Mine, will deliver a lecture entitled “The Catacomb of Loyalty: A Deep Dive into New-Gate’s Role in the Revolution”. This lecture will explore how loyalists and POWs were treated here in Connecticut.  

This event is part of a series of programs hosted by Wethersfield Historical Society exploring the history of the American Revolution. All of the programs in this series will take place in-person at the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center (200 Main Street, Wethersfield, CT). Tickets are free for members and $10 per program for non-members.
