Capital City Pride 2026

learn more

On June 13, 2026, Capital City Pride will transform downtown Hartford into a vibrant celebration of LGBTQ+ culture, art, and history. Hosted by the Hartford Pride Center, this event represents a bold new chapter for Pride programming in Connecticut. Our vision is to move beyond the traditional tabling/resource fair model and instead design a dynamic, artist-centered experience that highlights creativity, connection, and community voice.

To bring this vision to life, we are inviting a select group of partners to participate in the festival. We are being intentional about how these spaces are curated to ensure they complement, rather than dilute, the diverse artistic expression that will be showcased throughout the day. The role of a Pride Partner is not simply to be present, but to enhance the experience for attendees while building trust in a meaningful way with members of our community.

Capital City Pride will serve as a unique vehicle for connection, creating opportunities for partnering organizations to interact with the public in ways that go beyond traditional outreach. Through thoughtful engagement, partners will be given a chance to live and share their values, build authentic relationships, and demonstrate their commitment to supporting queer people in a visible and meaningful way.

Below is our festival schedule
