Brookfield Film Festival 2026
Every year, local residents, filmmakers, screenwriters, musicians, actors, and film buffs across Connecticut converge at the Brookfield Film Festival! During this exciting weekend, the historic Brookfield Theatre transforms into a hub for viewing independent films, supporting local artists and musicians and networking with professionals in the field.
Sponsored by the Brookfield Arts Commission and in its 18th year, the Brookfield Film Festival continues to showcase and highlight independent and local filmmakers, screenwriters, and musicians. “Shorts and to the Point” is a handpicked collection of Oscar nominated and other award-winning short films, with viewings on Saturday evening, and Sunday afternoon.
