Bootleggers & Bloodlines: Speakeasy Ghost Investigation of Noank with John Zaffis and Courtney McInvale

Step into Noank’s Gilded Age past for an unforgettable night inside one of Connecticut’s most intriguing historic spaces. Bootleggers & Bloodlines: Speakeasy Ghost Investigation of Noank invites guests to explore the region’s largest Prohibition-era speakeasy with world-renowned paranormal expert John Zaffis, along with Courtney McInvale and Seaside Shadows.

The evening begins with a pizza dinner at Palmer’s Provisions before guests head upstairs to the atmospheric, century-old speakeasy—once tied to the Patriarca family mafia. There, John Zaffis leads a Gilded Age haunted artifact lecture, followed by storytelling on Noank’s local legends, including the shipwreck of the Atlantic, the Palmer family curse, and the area’s surprising Amelia Earhart connection.

Guests then participate in a full guided paranormal investigation, exploring active hotspots and engaging with professional ghost-hunting equipment. Recently featured on the November 17 episode of The Paranormal Files, this venue has quickly become one of the most talked-about haunted locations in southeastern Connecticut.
