Celebrate black history month with an enriching evening of poetry featuring MayaRose. Immerse yourself in the art of poetry and performance as we gather to create, refine, and share our works.
The first two hours will kick off learning easy writing warm-ups and ice-breakers along with simple but deep writing prompts to write your own black history month spoken word poem and perform it confidently.
In the last 45 minutes, we will share our work in“Open Mic” style. Invite Family, Friends, and your community to share and inspire the DREAM.
Bring your journal or one will be provided. Ages 14+ Tickets are needed for 18+ year old participants only. All levels are welcome. Space is limited

📍 Location: Aquila's Nest Vineyards Indoor Tasting Room
Wine is not included in the ticket. A drink purchase of minimum $10 plus tax and gratuity per participant is required to attend this event and can be made at the vineyard prior to the start of the event, after our staff checks your ID. Aquila's Nest has many non-alcoholic options as well.
Outside Alcohol Beverages, Water Bottles or Any Other Beverages are NOT allowed to be brought in the premises of the vineyard.
This is event is held indoors in the grand piano wine tasting room.
