Black Bear Music Fest 2025
Join us for three unforgettable days of music, camping, and community at the 7th annual Black Bear Music Fest! Held for the first time at the scenic Harwinton Fairgrounds, this summer celebration features over 50 live acts across 4 stages, spotlighting the best in Americana music from soulful blues and gritty rock to folk, roots, and foot-stomping bluegrass.
Check out the unforgettable lineup including Shawn Mullins, the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter behind the platinum smash “Lullaby”, and Howie Day, whose hit “Collide” still gives us chills. You’ll also catch beloved performers like David Wilcox and Jeffrey Gaines, artists known for soul-stirring lyrics and unforgettable live shows. And of course, local legends take the stage too—The Alpaca Gnomes, Bridgeport’s own 7-piece rock-folk jam crew, bring their signature stomp-and-groove energy, while The Dreadnoughts crank things up with a wild swirl of folk-punk and sea shanties. It’s the kind of lineup where you come for your favorites and leave with a few new ones.
Formerly a beloved fall tradition in Goshen, Black Bear is now embracing the warmth and energy of August with more music, more vendors, and more summer fun. Enjoy delicious eats from local food trucks, browse handcrafted goods from artisan vendors, and bring the whole family for activities, workshops, and great vibes all weekend long.
Whether you’re coming for the day or pitching a tent for the weekend, Black Bear Music Fest is rain or shine and open to all ages.
