Beverages that Fueled the Revolution

The Leffingwell House Museum invites you to learn about the ‘Beverages that Fueled the Revolution’ on Saturday, October10, 11-3pm.  The Pewter Pot Fine Spiced Chocolate & the Wedges of Time will take you on a journey of discovery to learn about the history and the making process of the beverages that fueled the Revolution. You will discover the connections between chocolate and coffee and Revolution.  There will be Beverage tasting, both old  & new recipes, you will watch the process of making these beverages from the raw materials to finished product. Discover what ingredients are used and their sources. It will be a very tasty day!   You can also Hunt for Scarecrows in the Business Sponsored Scarecrow   garden with prizes, Donations for winter heat accepted gratefully.
