Benedict Arnold Returns

Witness the Annual Return of the Infamous son of Norwich, Benedict Arnold to the Leffingwell House Museum on Saturday, September 19, 11-3pm. Learn about both sides of the infamous son of Norwich-Benedict Arnold. At 11:30 and 1:30, listen to portrayals of both 'coats' of Benedict Arnold (Dave Loda) and hear remarks about his two sides from visiting General George Washington (Gary Bliss), plus a visit from Peggy Shippan, Tory wife of Arnold. Inside the museum, view a display of Arnold memorabilia from his youth in Norwich, including his sword on loan from New London County Historical Society.
