Austin House Tour
Tour the home of legendary museum director A. Everett “Chick” Austin and Helen Goodwin at 130 Scarborough Street in Hartford’s West End. Modeled on a Venetian Renaissance villa, the Austin House was built in 1930 and seamlessly blends 18th-century rococo style with radically modern Bauhaus design. Meet your docent at the Austin House. The tour includes portions of the home only accessible by stairs; elevator service is not available.
Adults $35; Youth (12–17) $20; Children (under 12) Free. Tour fees include same-day complimentary admission to The Wadsworth, from 12–5PM. Tour capacity is limited. Reservations required via TheWadsworth.org.
