Archaeology Day

Dig into archaeology at the Rocky Hill Historical Society's 4th annual Archaeology Day. Saturday, September 19, 2026.This free event is for all ages. Hours are 11:00am - 4:oo pm - drop in anytime. Lecture at 1:00 will be presented by Lucainne Lavin, Director Emerita of Research and Collections at the Institute for American Indian Studies. View artifacts from the Rocky Hill area and browse our museum, participate in archaeological activities, watch flintknapping demonstrations. FOSA (Friends of the Office of State Archaeology) will be participating. Event will be held at the Rocky Hill Historical Society's Academy Hall Museum at 785 Old Main Street, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
