Take a break from the Apple Harvest Festival and step into the past at The Barnes Museum. During both Saturdays of the festival, visitors are invited to enjoy free, self-guided preview tours of the museum’s first floor that filled with original furnishings, decorative arts, and artifacts from the Bradley/Barnes family.
Wander at your own pace and experience the elegance of 19th-century Southington in a beautifully preserved setting.
Admission is free, with a $10 suggested donation at the door to support the museum’s preservation and programming.
No reservations needed! Drop in anytime between 1:00 and 5:00 PM!
No parking in the Barnes Museum parking lot.
To visit The Barnes Museum during the Apple Harvest Festival, please take the shuttle service departing from Southington High School. The shuttle will drop guests off in the parking lot behind The Barnes Museum, accessible via Merrell Avenue. From there, follow the designated walkway to the museum’s main entrance to access the first floor.
Please note: North Main Street is closed starting at Merrell Avenue for the duration of the Apple Harvest Festival.
