3rd Annual Buoys by the Bay

The East Lyme Public Trust Foundation in Niantic, along with Niantic Main St., present the 3rd Annual Buoys by the Bay display will begin on Friday, November 21st and runs to January 15th.

The project is a fundraiser between two town Non-Profits in Niantic. Buoys are purchased for $50, the supporter decorates it and brings it back to be hung on a forest of trees at the Scheer Park on Main St. The buoys are returned to the individual in January.  Proceeds from the event are split between the two groups. Each group uses the portion for support of other non-profits or additional events which happen in town throughout the year.

There will be over 150 buoys displayed. New this year, small fish have been painted by children with the Niantic Children's Museum  they will be displayed on the trees as well.  Another great reason to come visit!
