The 32nd Annual Train Show
The Connecticut River Museum is excited to announce the return of its Annual Train Show, a beloved holiday tradition featuring intricate and captivating model train layouts created by Steve Cryan. The show will open on Friday, November 21, and run through February 2026.
Artist and train enthusiast Steve Cryan signals the start of the holiday season at the Museum each fall by unveiling a new model train layout. His miniature world of trains annually enthralls the crowds who visit the train show, an essential family tradition.
This year marks the Annual Train Show's 32nd year. For over three decades, the exhibit has distinguished itself by never repeating a design. Each year, Cryan begins with a blank slate, crafting a new miniature world from scratch. His dedication and artistic vision transform the space into a breathtaking display, complete with multiple operational tracks, detailed landscapes, and visual puns that reward repeat visitors.
