20th annual SWIM ACROSS AMERICA - FAIRFIELD COUNTY
The 20th annual SWIM ACROSS AMERICA - FAIRFIELD COUNTY open water swim will be held SATURDAY, JUNE 20, in Long Island Sound (Dolphin Cove) in Stamford, Connecticut. This inspirational event MAKES WAVES TO FIGHT CANCER and is one of the largest open water events in the tri-state area, attracting hundreds of swimmers, volunteers and spectators each year -- including Olympic swimmers! With this year being the 20th annual, it's expected to be bigger and better than ever!! Swimmers swim 1/2-mile, 1.5-miles or 3-miles in Long Island Sound. There is also a fun Kids' Splash for ages 11 and under.

Swim Across America - Fairfield County has raised a total of $8.2 million for critical cancer research. Proceeds from the open water swim support our local beneficiary Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy, based in Stamford.
