2026 Consumer Reports 5K

For the first time in our 90-year history, Consumer Reports is opening up its Auto Test Center on Saturday, October 17 for a one-of-a-kind fundraising event. Participants will be able to run or walk on the iconic track where CR tests cars for safety and reliability–a beautiful, state-of-the-art, 327-acre testing center in Colchester, CT. After the race, participants and spectators are invited to stay for a demonstration and to speak with the experts who conduct on-site testing each day. Proceeds from the race will fund Consumer Reports’ nonprofit mission–working for truth, transparency, and fairness in the marketplace.

Participation fee includes a t-shirt. Attendance is limited, so please sign up today at CR.org/5K!

This event is rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, we will monitor conditions closely and communicate any necessary updates or changes to registered participants.
