12th Annual Holiday Lights at Lake Compounce
Make Your Season Sparkle at Lake Compounce’s Holiday Lights! Bring your family and celebrate the return of New England’s Favorite Holiday Tradition. Take a stroll among hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights, and marvel at the tallest Christmas tree in the state. That’s not all: enjoy a variety of your favorite rides, games and activities, including Make your own Snow Globe, Personalized Ornaments, and Letters to Santa!
Lake Compounce has officially transformed for the holiday season as The Official Park of Family Fun readies for its 12th annual Holiday Lights. Southern New England’s Only Theme Park Holiday Event will offer 15 days to celebrate the joy of the holidays with the entire family surrounded by dazzling light displays, decked midways and festive food and drink options. The big man in red will be at the park from November 29 through December 22 in the Starlight Theatre granting holiday wishes. Connecticut’s Tallest Christmas Tree will take center stage at the park’s main entrance for the rest of the 2024 season.
This festive season promises to offer even more activities and reasons to visit including the return of Pawliday Lights on Sunday, December 8, and a stunning firework display to close out 2024 on Sunday, December 29 at 8 p.m.
Lake Compounce is celebrating all that is merry and bright with a full season of giving back. Each weekend, visitors are invited to spread a little holiday cheer as Lake Compounce partners with several local nonprofit organizations. Any guest that gives back throughout the event will get a free 2025 ticket valid any one day during the park’s summer season. Details include:
- November 29 – December 1: In partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Bristol, visitors are encouraged to bring hats, gloves and coats in exchange for a 2025 Single Day ticket.
- December 3: The park celebrates Giving Tuesday with the Alzheimer’s Association of CT. For every single 2025 Season Pass sold on Giving Tuesday, Lake Compounce will donate a free 2025 single day ticket to the association.
- December 7 – 8: This weekend is all about the pups as Lake Compounce re-introduces Pawliday Lights on Sunday, December 8, families can bring the whole family, even the furry ones. Those that bring a donation for the Meriden Humane Society in the form of dog toys, treats or food will receive a free single day ticket for 2025.
- December 13 – 15: In partnership with Pepsi, Lake Compounce will be hosting a Stuff-the-Pepsi Truck event all weekend long. Park-goers are encouraged to bring one unwrapped toy to help stuff the truck throughout the weekend benefitting the Boys & Girls Club of Bristol in exchange for a 2025 Single Day ticket.
- December 26 – 29: The park closes out its 2025 season of giving with a food drive, teaming up with Southington’s Bread for Life. Those that bring non-perishable food items for local residents in need will also receive a free 2025 ticket.
Throughout Holiday Lights, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of delicious, themed treats and take a ride on attractions fit for the whole family like the North Pole Express, Boocifers Haunted Holiday at Ghost Hunt, Zoomer’s Gas n Go, Kiddie Coaster and more. Holiday Lights will run Fridays from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Saturdays from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Sundays from 3p.m. until 8 p.m. from November 29 through December 29. The park will offer even more time to spread holiday cheer with an additional day to enjoy all that is merry and bright on Thursday, December 26 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m.
