Lucky for us, they can be found in virtually every city and town throughout the Litchfield Hills, with many offering lots more than produce – like baked goods, jams, honey, maple syrup, cheese, eggs, meats, home-made gifts and even dog treats. Farmers markets offer their bounty throughout the year; but autumn is ‘peak’ season for crisp apples and, of course, pumpkins!
