

87th Annual Dogwood Festival
Celebrate Mother's Day and the beauty of the dogwood blossoms. The weekend-long festival includes craft vendors, live music, children's games, food, and raffles.
In 1938, after a weekend visit to Connecticut, First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt writers in her "My Day" column (there) "is an avenue of pink and white dogwood on Greenfield Hill such as I have never seen anywhere else in this country."
