Town of Weston

Weston is a picturesque town among Fairfield County’s most idyllic communities. Located in southwestern Connecticut, about 45 miles from New York City, it offers a unique blend of rural charm and sophistication, free from busy commercial boulevards. “The Center,” as locals fondly call it, is the go-to spot for shopping and gathering, featuring a local food market, bank, pharmacy with a gift shop, restaurants, and more.

Weston boasts an active arts scene, with the Weston Commission for the Arts organizing music, art, drama, and other cultural events. The Weston Public Library provides programs, book clubs, and workshops for all ages.

The Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide range of activities and camps. Throughout the year, various country fairs and farmers' markets take place in town. During harvest time, the Grange Fair celebrates the season, and each year, the Weston Volunteer Fire Department hosts an old-fashioned Memorial Day Parade, complete with free hot dogs and soda afterward. The Farmers' Market is held on Saturdays from May through September on the grounds of the Coley Homestead at the Weston Historical Society.
