This year’s 43nd annual festival includes vendors selling handcrafted items just in time for holiday shopping, a hayride, a free scavenger hunt, free musical entertainment, a 5K Road Race on Saturday morning sponsored by the First Mile Race Management Company, and a Christmas Tractor Exhibition and Decorating Contest in the afternoon. Plus, a multitude of delicious food choices to make everyone’s visit complete.

The festival surrounds the Bethlehem’s town green, at the junction of Route 61 and Route 132. All the buildings and churches participating in the festival are brimming with activities and Christmas spirit.  On Friday night at 6 p.m. is the opening ceremony, where Chaz from the "Chaz and AJ Show" on WPLR radio will help Santa light the town’s beautiful 85-foot Christmas tree. Santa will stay for the balance of the festival, giving families the opportunity to take their own memorable photos.   Also, on Friday there will be an illuminated fire truck procession after the tree lighting.

Free parking at the Bethlehem Fairgrounds, just one mile north of town on Route 61, Free shuttle buses between the fairgrounds and the festival, Free musical entertainment, a Free crafts workshop for children and their parents, and a Free scavenger hunt.    On both Friday and Saturday children’s hayride tickets are free with adult ticket purchase.

The Christmas Town Festival is run entirely by volunteers, and the purpose is to raise money to help support Memorial Hall, the community center in Bethlehem, by holding an affordable, family-friendly, Christmas Festival.
