Fishing trips and deep sea charters on Long Island Sound, running April to December. Our website describes all necessary information for those interested in going fishing or just spending time on the beautiful Long Island Sound aboard the Middlebank II. This boat is a wonderful, well-maintained, Coast Guard-inspected vessel of 72 feet. It is docked at Captain's Cove Marina, located at 1 Bostwick Avenue in Bridgeport. There is free parking available at the marina and you will find printable directions on the website.

For passenger's convenience, a small galley with a limited menu is on board to provide light meals, coffe, snacks and cold beverages. Additionally, the boat has bathroom facilities for both ladies and gentlemen. Individuals, friends, families and group are welcome aboard. The Middlebank II is also available for private charters to go fishing or just enjoy a cruise with your guests.

No fishing license is required to fish in Long Island Sound. Rods and reels are available for tental or customers may bring their own equipment. Fresh bait is provided. Some terminal tackle is provided including snelled hooks and the fist sinker. It or when needed, sinkers and other terminal tackle are available for sale on board. Skilled crewmen assist customers set up tackle.

A calendar showing scheduled trips, times of departure and return are posted on the website, along with targeted species for the particular trip or season. Also posted is cancellations due to inclement weather or mechanical problems.
