If your heart beats faster at the mention of second breakfast, elevenses, or a well-buttered scone, you may already be one of us. At Shirefolk Weekend, we celebrate the halfling way of life—where comfort is king, and joy is measured in full bellies and full hearts.
Come hungry. Sample savory pies, sweet cakes, and hearty fare worthy of the Green Dragon Inn. Sip something frothy. Snack like it’s your birthday (because it’s Bilbo and Frodo’s). Stroll the marketplace for handmade wares, rustic trinkets, and enchanted odds and ends that would make any wizard proud.
Don your pointiest hat or coziest waistcoat for the Wizard & Hobbit Costume Contest, and gather with fellow food-loving folk for a weekend that proves adventure doesn’t always mean leaving home—it can start with a plate of something delicious.
Shoes are required—but a barefoot spirit is encouraged.

Grab your staff, lace up your cloak, or slip into your most loyal pair of hairy-footed shoes. We’re calling all spell-slingers and Shirefolk to step into the spotlight and show us what magic really looks like.
This isn’t just a costume contest. It’s a chance to become the story. Whether you’re channeling ancient power or simple hobbit charm, bring your best look and let the crowd decide who deserves the title.
