Gina Barreca, PhD A Seat at the Table: Celebrating the Feast Italian American Culture

Gina Barreca was deemed a “feminist humor maven” by Ms. Magazine with bestselling books including They Used to Call Me Snow White But I Drifted: Women’s Strategic Use of Humor and Babes in Boyland: A Personal History of Coeducation in the Ivy League. This prolific author, editor, and educator joins us for an evening of delightful conversation.

Gina’s work has appeared in The New York Times, The Independent of London, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Cosmopolitan, and The Harvard Business Review. She’s a Board of Trustees Distinguished Professor of English at the University of Connecticut, where she’s also won the institution’s highest award for excellence in teaching.
